Path Coordination System (PCS)
The Path Coordination System (PCS) is an international path request coordination system for path applicants, e.g. Railway Undertakings (RUs), Infrastructure Managers (IMs) and Allocation Bodies (ABs). The internet-based application optimises international path coordination by ensuring that path requests and path offers are made in a harmonised way by all involved parties. Input for international path requests needs to be placed only once into one system – either into the domestic application or directly into PCS.
Train Information System (TIS)
The RNE Train Information System (TIS) is a web-based application that supports international train management by delivering real-time train data concerning international passenger and freight trains. The relevant data is obtained directly from the Infrastructure Managers’ systems.
Customer Information Platform (CIP)
The Customer Information Platform (CIP) is an interactive, Internet-based information tool. By means of a Graphical User Interface (GUI), CIP provides precise information on the routing, terminals, specific track properties and infrastructure investment projects, as well as ICM lines and their re-routing options of the participating Rail Freight Corridors (RFCs).
Charging Information System (CIS)
The Charging Information System (CIS) is an infrastructure charging information system for Applicants, Infrastructure Managers (IMs) and Allocation Bodies (ABs). The web-based application provides fast information on charges related to the use of European rail infrastructure and estimates the price for the use of international train paths within minutes. It is an umbrella application for the various national rail infrastructure charging systems.
Common Components System (CCS)
The Common Components System comprises of three elements to ensure the interoperability of European railway traffic: the Common Interface (CI), the Central Reference File Database (CRD) and the Certification Authority (CA). It creates user value for Infrastructure Managers, Railway Undertakings and Wagon Keepers.
Network and Corridor Information Portal (NCI)
The Network and Corridor Information Portal (NCI) aims to further facilitate easy access to information published in Network Statements (NS) and Corridor Information Documents (CIDs) by allowing to easily search, combine and download contents of NS and CID, all available in one application instead of at several different websites.
Rail Facilities Portal (RFP)
The Rail Facilities Portal provides quick access to information on all kinds of rail facilities, in particular rail freight facilities, e.g. for the planning of rail services. It also helps operators of service facilities to comply with their obligations resulting from Directive 2012/34/EU and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2177/2017.
Temporary Capacity Restrictions (TCR) Tool
The TCR Tool serves in the creation, coordination, and publication of temporary capacity restrictions (TCRs).
European Capacity Management Tool (ECMT)
The European Capacity Management Tool (ECMT) is an online application providing a centralised capacity supply and capacity model overview of railway lines and routes. The tool consolidates capacity needs and capacity restrictions on the railway infrastructure based on the information provided by Infrastructure Managers and Allocation Bodies. It offers capacity supply and capacity model visualisations and other related functionalities.
International Train Number Database (ITNDB)
Railway Infrastructure System (RIS)
RIS is a consolidated digital platform merging various existing railway infrastructure databases, aiming to provide a central source of digital railway infrastructure data.
