Webinar on Stakeholders’ Priority Topics from the European Framework for Capacity Management (EFCM)
RailNetEurope (RNE), in its role as prospective Network Coordinator, is hosting an online webinar on selected priority topics from the European Framework for Capacity Management (EFCM).
The program reflects topics identified by stakeholders and will focus on the processes that are particularly relevant for the practical application of the EFCM.
What will the webinar cover?
The webinar will provide a high-level overview of the EFCM topics prioritised by stakeholders:
- Capacity rights
- Consultation during the Capacity Model phase
- Consultation during the Capacity Supply Plan phase
- Rolling Planning
- New capacity requests
It will also indicate which stakeholder questions may be addressed through future implementation guidelines rather than the EFCM itself.
Why participate?
The webinar will help participants:
- understand the main concepts and proposed processes in the current EFCM draft (as available on 10 August 2026);
- identify principles how applicants and other stakeholders can provide input during the different consultation phases;
- raise questions and contribute practical perspectives ahead of the upcoming consultation activities.
The content presented will reflect the draft EFCM as available on 10 August 2026. As drafting work is ongoing, individual elements may still change.
