The Rail Transport Day 2023, co-organised by the European Commission, RailNetEurope, Trafikverket and Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking took place on 30 May 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden.
Close to 300 participants joined us in in Stockholm as well as online, to exchange on current sector topics in four panel discussions:
- Panel 1: “A Rail Freight Users’ Perspective”
- Panel 2: “Seamless Rail Ticketing”
- Panel 3: “Optimising Rail Capacity Management”
- Panel 4: “Digital Railway Systems”
We would like to warmly thank all contributors, participants, organisers and the Swedish Ministry for Transport and Infrastructure for making the Rail Transport Day a success, with interesting discussions, lively exchanges and expert insights, and are looking forward to continuing our joint efforts towards further improving rail transport and achieving ever more attractive and sustainable transport solutions.
