Timetabling

Timetabling is the process of managing capacity (so called Capacity Rights) on the railway net-work to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. It brings together applicants, such as rail-way undertakings, and Infrastructure Managers (IMs) to balance available capacity, requests for that capacity, and operational constraints at both national and international level.
