We are pleased to announce that the RNE Train Information System (TIS) now includes trains in Lithuania, following a successful connection with the Lithuanian Infrastructure Manager, AB LTG Infra.

This integration ensures that both freight and major passenger traffic within Lithuania are now accessible for real-time and historical searches through the TIS platform.

Additionally, international trains crossing the border with Poland are now seamlessly connected with those entering or exiting Lithuania.

New Features for TIS

The TIS platform continues to evolve with new features and enhancements.

Recent upgrades include:

• optimised distance calculation
• integration of GPS data from wagons and containers
• improved linking methods.

These advancements address the challenge of missing Train Identifiers, enabling more accurate mapping of national train sections to complete international journeys.
