At the recent General Assembly (GA) of RNE, held on 27 May 2025 in Krakow, a new Managing Board (MB) was elected. While seven members were re-elected, five new members joined the RNE MB.
The increase of members to a total of twelve was reasoned by the fact that a broad involvement of members is crucial in RNE’s transition to become the Network Coordinator.

This General Assembly marked the end of the terms of Miroslaw Kanclerz and Guus de Mol as members of the Management Board.
Mirosław Kanclerz joined the MB in 2009 and made significant contributions to Legal Affairs, Traffic Management, and more recently, to Network Statements and Corridor Information Documents. In his farewell remarks, he shared: “This period was absolutely unforgettable, filled with many experiences, joy and impact.” Although stepping down from the MB, he will continue representing PKP PLK at the RNE GA.

Guus de Mol has been involved in RNE from the very beginning. He joined the MB in 2015 and played a key role in the development of the Timetable Redesign (TTR). In his speech, he emphasised that the draft Capacity Regulation will make harmonisation and coordination essential. “The market and policymakers expect IMs and RNE to deliver. […] We all need to shift to a European approach,” he stated. We sincerely thank Mirosław Kanclerz and Guus de Mol for their years of commitment to RNE.
