RNE Managing Board Meeting, 18 February

About

The RNE Managing Board convened at the Joint Office to discuss key developments and future initiatives, particularly in relation to the Capacity Regulation and the Telematics TSI, with a focus on efficiency and effective risk management. Among the key topics addressed were the upcoming Managing Board elections, a proposal for restructuring Managing Board and General Assembly documents, and the acquisition of cyber insurance, which is tied to the ongoing ISO27001 certification process and considered an essential step in strengthening RNE’s compliance efforts.

The meeting also included discussions on the next steps for the Network Coordinator Project and provided an outlook on the new Capacity Management IT landscape. The Managing Board also approved some small projects within Traffic Management, including the TIS Incident Management Tool – TCR Message Implementation project. Another item on the agenda was the RNE Summer Academy 2025, which will be held in August. The event aims to provide insight into RNE’s activities and business areas, as well as networking opportunities for professionals involved in international relations. Members will be invited to nominate their candidates in early March.
