The RNE Managing Board convened on 29 and 30 April at the Joint Office in Vienna.

The primary focus of this meeting was to prepare the RNE General Assembly (GA) on 27 May, which will take place in Krakow. Key discussion topics were the elections of the new Managing Board at the GA, as well as future governance topics and technical initiatives which will pave the way to assume the role of Network Coordinator in a timely manner.

Highlights from the meeting included a progress report on the Network Coordinator Project, which has seen significant advancements, and updates on ongoing developments in Digital Capacity Management. The Managing Board also agreed to reactivate the RNE Communication Network—an initiative designed to enhance alignment between RNE and its Members especially in the context of the Capacity Regulation.
