RNE at the PRIME Plenary

On 20 November 2025, RNE representatives took part in the PRIME Plenary meeting in Warsaw, where high-level representatives of rail infrastructure managers and DG MOVE gathered to discuss strategic questions around infrastructure development, management and European cooperation.

RNE representatives were invited to present in several topics.

Ongoing preparations for the role of Network Coordinator

Following Linda Thulin’s presentation on the work of the PRIME Task Force Transition Capacity, Elisabeth Hochhold was invited to present RNE’s advancement in its ongoing activities to prepare for the role of Network Coordinator. Special focus was put on preparation of European Frameworks and the importance of committing to an efficient process enabling IMs to jointly deliver in ENIM and Network Coordinator what is expected by the Regulation, within the defined timelines. 

RNE input to the PRIME Digital Subgroup

Harald Reisinger, together with Yann Seimandi from the European Commission, presented the achievements accomplished in 2025 by the PRIME Digital Subgroup and introduced the new Work Programme of the subgroup for the upcoming period, for which substantial input has been provided by RNE. Primary focus will be on the digital implementation of the Capacity Regulation using the Telematics TSI.

RNE PRIME Secretariat and new PRIME/ENIM webpage

In preparation for handling the secretariat of future ENIM, RNE has started to provide administrative support also for PRIME.

This includes the maintenance of the PRIME website, which is now newly available at: https://enim-rail.eu/prime/

RNE remains committed to working with PRIME and the rail sector towards a swift implementation of the draft Capacity Regulation.
