Rail stakeholders have the opportunity to contribute to the operational implementation of the upcoming EU Capacity Regulation by joining the Advisory Board for the Capacity Regulation (ABCR).
The application phase closes at the end of January.
Role of the Advisory Board
The ABCR will serve as a central consultation platform for operational stakeholders other than Infrastructure Managers.
It enables participants to provide structured feedback and practical input, ensuring that market perspectives, as well as regulatory and policy-related insights, are appropriately reflected in the preparatory work for the implementation of the EU Capacity Regulation.
Eligible participants include European and national associations representing applicants, railway undertakings, rail service facility operators, providers of rail-related services and other entities directly involved in rail operations. Regulatory bodies, national and European public authorities and other international entities are invited to join as observers.
Applications close on 31 January 2026 at 12:00 (noon).
