On 3 September, RNE Managing Board (MB) Members dealing with Capacity Management – Weronika Karbowiak (PKP PLK S.A.), Jose Estrada (ADIF), Oliver Sellnick (DBInfra GO), and Michel Geubelle (Infrabel) – met with the Joint Office experts for a comprehensive onboarding session. Guus de Mol (ProRail), who oversaw this area during his time as MB member, led this onboarding, which is greatly appreciated.
The meeting focused on deepening understanding of activities within Capacity Management and setting the stage for strong future collaboration. After sharing their views on challenges for the upcoming months, the participants agreed on several measures to ensure the quality of RNE’s output in the field of Capacity Management while still facilitating the dialogue within the sector and adhering to deadlines set by the Capacity Regulation.
The following day, 4 September, the RNE Managing Board reconvened to follow up on its July Strategy Workshop, continuing discussions on the Association’s next steps toward assuming the pivotal role of Network Coordinator.
