RNE aims at offering a seamless experience for customers and stakeholders using RNE’s applications, expertise and network.

Market and Performance combines market-oriented services with data-driven performance insights to help Infrastructure Managers achieve a more integrated and customer-focused European railway system.

Market and Performance core responsibilities include:

• steering and coordinating performance review activities
• supporting the cooperation between Infrastructure Managers in the context of corridors and in the transition to new ways of cooperation at regional level
• conducting the EU Transport Market Study and related market analyses
• steering, executing and coordinating the promotion and sales of RNE products and services

In addition, Market and Performance oversees stakeholder consultation processes, facilitates new or enhanced cross-border rail services, and supports sales-related activities across the RNE Network.

Future activities under the Capacity Regulation will include

• preparing the European Framework for Performance Review
• supporting involved stakeholders in implementing the procedures for performance monitoring, assessment, and improvement in line with the Regulation
• supporting and/or steering stakeholder coordination and consultation activities
