Announcing: Webinar on the Legal Framework for Data Exchange Between Stakeholders in the Railway Business
Smooth data exchange between all parties concerned in cross-border freight services is key for making rail a more attractive and thus competitive mode of transport. The EU legal framework on data exchange in railways has recently been under extensive development by the law makers (e.g. new TAF TSI Regulation, the 2022 revision of TAF TSI). On behalf of the sector, RailNetEurope (RNE) is contributing to the field with its own set of legal templates for data exchange of real-time train information, estimated time of arrival (ETA) and delivery of reports on train punctuality and performance.
We would like to inform the stakeholders concerned, inter alia, on the relevant documents they can sign and get an instant access to, and make the best use of, the real-time and ‘historical’ train information available on the market. This webinar would be of particular interest for railway undertakings, wagon keepers, combined transport operators, terminal operators, maritime and inland ports, freight forwarders, shippers.
In this online event, following a general introduction of the RNE Train Information System (RNE TIS) provided by RNE, speakers from various rail stakeholders will discuss their experience and expectations for data exchange in freight rail services. Join us online and get insides on the latest changes!
